Can different lighting make slight upper lip hair more noticeable?

The brighter the light the more noticeable! Look at your leg or arm hair in a florescent light compared to natural sun light. The white light makes hair more noticeable. Example. I work in a supermarket, there are hundreds and hundreds or florescent lights causing a whiter reflection on everyone making them look lighter and the dark hair on them look darker. Most women coming through my line have mustaches where in any other light i would never see anything.
